Indeterminate inflorescences - fascicle - and other items, too!

I totally love living with a botanist.  I mean, you seriously can't drive anywhere in the world without fascinating comments on the vegetation around you (and likewise, my favorite living-with-a-botanist movie experience was, "PAUSE THE MOVIE! That's a GYPSUM DEPOSIT in the background!!!!!).

So - my take of an indeterminate inflorescences called a fascicle.  I have no clue what it all means, and admire people who do....

And I still love playing with Mercury Dimes....  What is that under it?  Ostrich egg shell.  Shhhh! It is my daughter's shell.  But since she's at school (so I couldn't possibly ask her!), I don't think she would mind me borrowing it : )

Celtic braids and rocks . . . .

Ok... did I mention?  I built a light box. The oh-so-easy-recycled-materials-light-box that I SHOULD have built 2 years ago (can I procrastinate or what?).  Seriously, it took less than 30 minutes.  But the BEST part is that now I can take pictures any old time my heart desires!  So new items are being stocked at the Etsy store every few days.....

And having fun mixing up all the stones I have....

So stop on by and see what is new!  Etsy store is here : )

Red Aventurine... and add Honey Crisp apples to your bucket list this fall!

Red aventurine should really be called orange, but nobody asked me when they were naming the stone : )  However, this bracelet absolutely reminds me of fall - the leaf colors, apple cider and cinnamon.  Which reminds me that I really need to go and do something with that other huge bag of apples that we picked last week (we already plowed through one bag of Honey Crisp, which if you've never tried, you need to put that at the top of your bucket list this fall!)

Fall colors.... Boho inspired bracelets

I've been having a lot of fun lately....  First, I made my very own light box (yay!), which makes picture taking a LOT easier than waiting for those 30 minutes when the lighting outside is perfect.  And that 30 minute window of opportunity?  I'd have to wish that it wasn't freezing outside, or raining, or that my kids needed help with some crazy project.

Total lighting independence.  YAY!  Secondly - I've been inspired by fall colors and bohemian inspired bracelets.  LOVE how various bracelets stack, so I'm making my own versions for the Etsy store.  That, and still coding the website, but hopefully that will be done by the end of September!

I hope everyone is enjoying the early fall weather!
